December 1st: Toy Drive updates!
Our first toy drop off was held last Saturday at the station with several bags of toys and financial donations. Your assistance this year is greatly appreciated. We have a total of 92 families and 180 children at this time. We will be having another collection date this Sunday, December 4th at the Masonic Lodge in Fredericktown during the Christmas walk.
November 1st: Fifth Annual Firefighter Toy Drive
It is that time of year again, the fire boots are out in the community and members of the Fredericktown Firefighters Association have kicked off their fifth annual Firefighter Toy Drive to support families within our community. Last year the team of dedicated firefighters through community support and hard work were able to raise around $5000 to support the drive and met the needs of well over 150 children.
To assist in the fundraising, the association is also selling poinsettias and currently taking orders for delivery throughout the holiday season. For more information and to place a flower order, please contact Bernadette Smith at 694-2128.
In addition to the boot drive, there will be several toy drop off dates announced very soon.
The toy drive operated in Fredericktown is an independent operation that is completely volunteer, all goods and materials are donated, and the drive operates with no overhead. What donations come in, go right back out into the community and to the children and families.

September 11th: Thank you
The Fredericktown Firefighters Association would like to thank everyone that came out and supported the association BINGO at this years Tomato Show.
May 28th: Fire ATV Donated by former member
Members of the Fredericktown Community Fire District were surprised on May 28 during the annual retired firefighter breakfast as several VIP guests arrived at the station. As a crowd of over 50 people headed out to the apparatus bay they were greeted by a new firefighting ATV with lights flashing. The ATV was donated by former FCFD firefighter Jeremy Freer and Angel MedFlight, the air ambulance company he started in 2007.
"The idea of this came up last football season when Jeremy was back and asked what is something that you probably wouldn't buy for yourself, but would like to have, and this vehicle came up," said Chief Mast.
"I simply wanted to come back and give back to those that gave myself the opportunity to even get started in the industry," said Freer. "We have definitely been very fortunate at Angel MedFlight, we are currently the third fastest growing company in Arizona this last year and its nice to give back to those that gave me a shot in the beginning."
"I definitely appreciate it and hopefully it is put to good use," Freer added.
In addition to Jeremy, several other family members were in attendance along with many representatives from the Angel Medflight family who flew in for the special event. Along with the ATV, a tandem axle trailer to transport it was donated as a part of the package. For more information about Angel MedFlight, visit www.angelmedflight.com.
